John Mark Karr is Guilty—But of What?
Sometimes it’s too easy to get caught up in the storm. I know everyone wants to see JonBenet’s killer caught, but now it just seems like there is mass confusion. Just look at some of the facts:- Thai officials are denying aspects of the widely reported confession that Karr had drugged JonBenet.
-John Mark Karr's ex-wife told KGO-TV in San Francisco he was with her in Alabama the entire Christmas season that year—when the murder was to have happened. For those not good with geography, that is about 1,461 miles way or a 1 day drive.
And yet when asked about the murder and if he were innocent Karr responded thusly:
"No. I was with JonBenet when she died. The death was an accident."
How was it an accident though?
As has been widely reported JonBenet had been found in the basement of her Boulder, Colorado, home, strangled with a complicated garrote made from a stick and cord, her skull fractured. – Doesn’t sound accidental to me.
At he end of the day, I think it’s best to take the lead from JonBenet’s father, John Ramsey: "Do not jump to conclusions, do not rush to judgment, do not speculate. Let the justice system take its course.”
If anything, this case has taught us jumping conclusions is dangerous. And besides, with DNA evidence to come soon, we’ll know soon if John Mark is guilty of murder. The fact is John Karr is still a criminal:
“John Karr, was arrested and charged with five misdemeanour counts of possession of child pornography in Sonoma County in April 2001. He failed to show up for a court appearance in December 2001 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The pornography charges are still pending.”
Let’s not forget this. He was on the lam from the law. While he might not be JonBenet;s killer, Karr needs to be put behind bars. It’s obvious he has problem. Why else was he in Thailand? Don’t feel sorry for him. It’s wasted breath.

That Canadian newspaper article was very interesting... one of the main reasons people were so quick to dismiss Karr's confession was because of the drugging claim. But if he never actually said that, then that changes my opinion substantially.
At any rate, like you said, we'll just have to wait for the DNA results to come back.
His history clearly marks that of a serious, dangerous pedophile, inclusive of his two marriages, one to a 14-year-old and one to a 16-year-old. I don't beleive he killed Jonbenet, but this sick f--k needs to be castrated and locked away forever.
I don't think Karr killed JonBenet Ramsey. However, I am convinvced he's a pedophile -- guilty of multiple other crimes. There are FAR too many inconsistencies in his story for him to even have been arrested for the murder. First, he could not have picked JBR up from school. She was at home on Christmas break. Second, autopsy results show NO drugs in JonBenet's system. Third, there were vaginal injuries, but no real mention of rape. Lastly, Lara Knutson, Karr's ex-wife, says he was with her in Alabama the entire Christmas season of 1996. Hmmm...
BTW, has LE actually admitted Karr was arrested in the case? Check out my blog, sopebocks.blogspot.com for LOTS of info on John Karr -- including the FIRST published info on the links between *a* John Karr, UseNet postings and an organization named PowerWurks.
THANKS for your efforts. Keep up the good work!
