Archie Comics

The other day I was feeling nostalgic. Who can tell why. It just happens, especially around the new year. Any way, I decided to spend some time leafing through some old Archie Comics remembering all the laughs and good times. It's been at least 15 years since I last read Archie Comics, and wondered if they were the same. To my pleasure they were. You can read some past issues, listen to old time radio, get some cool Archie screen savers, read Archie & Judghead's Blog and even more at the official Archie website. Although the website is not as intense as the Marvel or DC comics website, it is something familiar, something nice and wholesome. It was a pleasure to reconnect with the gang. It's also given me a hankering to actually search out the daily Archie Comic strip, and pick up some new Archie Comics. If you haven't checked out Archie Comics in a while, it's time to indulge yourself in some nostalgia. Happy reading!

I quite agree with you, I've been reading Archie since grade school. Can you believe it, Archie's going to get married! I thought I'd never see the day..
I recently bought a Double Digest just to see if things are still the same. The issue tackled recycling, going green, and even crisis! I'm glad the creators are revving up the comic by creating "personal blogs" of the main characters. I'm quite wary of the "wedding" that's supposed to take place in the September 2009 issue, though.. I wonder how it's going to affect the entire comic.

I think the wedding thing is all hype. I just can't see it happening. Or it becomes a new spin-off.
