Can't log into Facebook!

I am no longer addicted to Facebook like I was, but I do like to check it every couple of days. Don't want to be rude to all my friends. However, the last couple of days, I cannot get in. Very sorry to those disappointed. I am getting the following error:

"Hey, your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience."

No one else I know seems to be getting this message. So please bear with me. I am not ignoring you.

Facebook And Lost Time

I had been warned Facebook was addictive. Those warnings weren't a lie. Now for those concerned, I haven't fallen off the face off the planet, but I have spent a lot of time reconnecting with people from my past. It has been a wonderful experience I wouldn't trade. And also something I really needed. Facebook has filled a void, as weird as that sounds. It's true what they say. The older you get, the more important the friends you had when you were younger. It's either that or I am really suffering from a bad case of nostalgia, I just can't shake....

Facebook Capitulation

Okay folks, I have officially capitulated to Facebook. I fought it off long enough, but no longer. I blame nostalgia and an impending 30th birthday. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. So here I am now, reconnecting with people, for the most part, I have not seen or heard from for over 10 years. And you know what, Facebook isn't that bad. It's the e-equivalent of a high school reunion, with everyone you ever met. And I am happy I finally decided to join. If you haven't done it yet, it's time! There are so many people, I am sure, who are looking forward to connecting with you--and who just lost touch over time. There is also no need to be shy of High School Classmates either-time and perspective is an amazing thing. You might even make some new friends out of those old ones or even make some new connections. That's what makes Facebook something very interesting... it's not only for Tweens any longer.
